Packaging Requirements: Timing chain kits contain precision components such as chains, guide rails, tensioners, and rollers. They are typically packaged in sealed plastic bags or rust-proof film and placed in sturdy cardboard boxes at the factory. The packaging should be clearly marked with "Keep Dry," "Head Up," and "Handle with Care" labels to prevent moisture damage, inversion, or rough handling during transportation.

 

Environmental Control: The transportation environment should be kept dry and well-ventilated, avoiding prolonged exposure to high humidity or corrosive gases. Since the chain comes into contact with engine oil, rust or contamination on the surface may affect its lubrication performance and durability.

 

Shockproofing and Securement: During logistics, cushioning materials such as foam and air cushion film should be used to fill gaps to prevent the kit from moving and causing impacts within the box. This is especially important for plastic or light metal components such as guide rails and tensioners, as impacts may cause deformation or malfunction.

 

Storage and Transit Recommendations: For transshipment or temporary storage, avoid open-air stacking and keep away from heat sources and oil stains. Warehouse floors should be insulated with pallets to prevent moisture absorption at the bottom. Forklifts or manual pallet trucks are recommended for handling to reduce the risk of damage to outer packaging caused by manual dragging.
